For families, and for everyone
Digitize it once. Keep it forever.
Video, audio, documents, photographs, recorded stories. Put them somewhere they will still open in thirty years — and decide, item by item, what the world sees and what stays in the family.
Why this exists
My mom called and asked for a place to keep our family’s tree, stories and photos. I had already bought this domain to save everything humanity knows. It turned out to be the same idea.
What you can do today
Upload anything
Photos, videos, voice recordings, scanned letters and documents — from a computer or a phone’s browser. Photos, video and audio play right on the page.
Build your family tree
Everyone, living or long gone: parents, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins, with whatever dates you know.
Invite your family
Each relative gets their own login by email and joins the tree as themselves, ready to add what they have.
Choose who sees what
Keep an item private, share it with your family tree or an organization, or add it to the public archive — and change your mind any time.
Coming next: an app in the App Store and Google Play, and a desktop tool for moving very large collections.
Two sides, one library
Anyone can read the public archive without an account. Everything else sits behind a login, shared with an organization you belong to or a family tree you are part of. Moving something from one side to the other is a setting, not a second upload.
Family trees that hold people
Build the tree with everyone in it — including the ones who died before any of this existed. Give the living relatives their own login, and what they add lands in the same place.

PublicUnfinished Pepsi Backlog
My mom always had half-drank Diet Pepsi bottles strewn about the house when I was growing up. She only wanted them when they had that fresh fizz! I now have a growing collection of partially drank dranks at my own home... I fear I may be turning into my mother!
